Instructions

  1. First, select fresh, firm yam, then peel, rinse thoroughly, and cut into evenly sized pieces.
  2. Heat enough vegetable oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat to cover the yam pieces, testing readiness by dropping in a small piece.
