Ingredients

  • 3-4 ripe fresh figs (stem removed) or dried figs (soaked in hot water for 10 mins to soften)
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup milk (dairy or unsweetened almond milk)
  • 1 tablespoon honey (plus extra for drizzling)
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of cinnamon (optional)
  • Ice cubes (if using fresh figs)
  • For Garnish:
  • Sliced fresh fig
  • Drizzle of honey
  • Sprinkle of crushed walnuts or pistachios

Instructions

  1. If using fresh figs, simply wash and remove the stems. If using dried figs, soak them in hot water for 10 minutes to soften, then drain.
  2. Add the figs, Greek yogurt, milk, honey, vanilla extract, and a pinch of cinnamon (if using) to a blender. Add a handful of ice if you want a colder, thicker shake.
  3. Blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. The tiny seeds from the figs will add a pleasant texture.
