Ingredients
- 1 cup okro
- 1 red bell pepper (tatashe)
- Smoked turkey wings (optional)
- 1 cup shrimps
- Smoked fish
- Fresh pepper
- 3tbsp crayfish
- 1 ½ cup ugwu
- 1 small onion chopped
- 3 ½ tbsp locust bean
- 3/4 palm oil
- Seasoning powder to taste)
- 4 cups of water
Instructions
- Boil smoked turkey wings with salt, seasoning powder (if used), and minced onions until tender.
- While Turkey Boils:
- Mince half of the onions; slice the other half. Set aside.
- Mince red bell pepper and habanero pepper. Set aside.
- Cooking the Soup:
- Once turkey is tender, add minced pepper, crayfish, and locust bean; cook for about 10 minutes.
- Shred and add washed dry fish; let soften for about 5 minutes.
- Add palm oil, shrimps, and minced/sliced okra; cook for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Stir in spinach; mix until soup is to your liking.
- Remove from heat
