Ingredients

  • 4 oz (113g) lean ground turkey (93/7 lean/fat ratio)
  • 1 tbsp finely diced onion
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (or low-sodium soy sauce)
  • ¼ tsp smoked paprika
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • Non-stick cooking spray or ½ tsp olive oil
  • 2 large lettuce leaves (e.g., Romaine, Iceberg, or Butter lettuce)
  • Toppings (optional):
  • 1 slice tomato, 2 slices red onion, mustard, sugar-free relish, or 1 tbsp tzatziki sauce

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, gently mix turkey, onion, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, and pepper. Shape into a patty.
  2. Lightly spray a pan with cooking spray and heat over medium. Cook patty for 5–7 minutes per side, until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  3. Place cooked patty on one lettuce leaf. Add toppings and top with second leaf. Serve immediately.
