- 4 tbsp butter
- ½ cup warm milk or cream
- Salt and white pepper to taste
- For the Creamy Sauce:
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour

- 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half for a lighter version)
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional)
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

- Fresh parsley or dill for garnish
Instructions
- Boil potatoes until tender. Drain and mash them with butter, milk, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- In a bowl, mix ground beef with onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, and seasonings. Form into small meatballs. Cook the meatballs in a large skillet until they're browned on all sides, then remove and set them aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and whisk in flour for one minute. Gradually whisk in the broth until smooth, then add the cream, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer for 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Return the meatballs to the skillet and let them simmer in the sauce for 5-7 minutes. Spoon the mashed potatoes onto plates and top with the meatballs and sauce. Garnish with parsley or dill.
